Summit Logistics Coordinator

Community-Based Research Centre (CBRC)

Coordinating the planning and execution of event logistics for national annual conference.

Establishing key production processes for live, pre-recording, and post-event content.

Managing communications with conference presenters, participants, vendors, and other project stakeholders.

Supporting the accessibility of the conference by coordinating the implementation of live interpretation and captioning services, as well as peer listening and support services for conference participants.

LGBTQ+ Related Resources       & Tools for Humber Faculty

A research study was conducted to understand the processes, and tools that are accessible to support knowledge and resource sharing for faculty, departments, and other stakeholders of LGBTQ+ education.

 

This study was in partnership between The LGBTQ+ Resource Centre and The Bachelor of Community Development Program at Humber College. The study was approved by Humber’s Research Ethics Board.

 

The team conducted a survey and key informant interviews as quantitative and qualitative research methods. Faculty, and interested stakeholders, were recruited to participate in the research.

 

The team evaluated the state of the system and provide recommendations through consultation with the LGBTQ+ Resource Centre and other stakeholders to address any existing gaps.
